This policy applies to the website akkon.ai. A separate, detailed privacy policy will be published for the AKKON platform before it is activated.

Visiting the website

The website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., which also has data centres in Europe). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time, the requested address and browser information in order to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. We do not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from third-party providers.

In your browser, we only store your choice between the light and dark theme (local storage). This information does not leave your device.

Request and contact form

When you write to us via a form, we process the data you provide (name, email, optionally company, country, phase, message) on the basis of your consent in order to handle your request and contact you. The data is stored in a database at Cloudflare. For notifications by email, we use the mailing service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA).

To classify your request, AKKON may evaluate it automatically (for example, phase and suitable execution level). This evaluation is used solely for internal processing; no decisions with legal effect for you are made.

We delete requests as soon as they have been dealt with, and at the latest 12 months after receipt. You can withdraw your consent at any time by email to hallo@akkon.ai.

Transfer abroad

Cloudflare and Resend may also process data in the USA. The transfer is based on the applicable safeguards in each case, in particular standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
